Accessibility

What this product aims for, and where it is not there yet.

The standard

EDEN Da’at is built to WCAG 2.2 level AA. Every screen has a skip link, one first level heading, named landmarks, and a focus outline that stays visible on both light and dark backgrounds. Controls are at least 24 by 24 CSS pixels, and most are 44.

What we have tested

Keyboard operation and focus order are checked by hand on every screen, and the structure of every screen is asserted in an automated suite. An automated scan on its own is evidence about the scanner, so it is not the whole of what we do.

Known gaps

This is a first shell. Screen reader testing with JAWS, NVDA and VoiceOver has not yet been carried out, and no page has been checked at 400 per cent zoom on a real handset.

Telling us

If something here blocks you, say so and it will be treated as a defect rather than a request.
